See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. (Isaiah 43:19)
Our Father in heaven, thank You for making a way, in and through the wilderness. Lord in all the dry and weary places You provide refreshment for our parched and weary souls. Thank You for the streams You provide in the desert. Help me to look to You as You lead me along the paths You have carved out even in the barren wastes of life.
Give me open eyes, O Lord, to perceive the new things You are doing in my life. Forgive me for looking back when I should be looking forward. Give me vision and clarity, and help me to move forward with confidence and trust.
