Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on."(Exodus 14:15).
Father, You are the One and Only Almighty God. When we feel trapped between "the devil and the deep blue sea", You alone can bring deliverance. You are the God who "made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters." (Isaiah 43:16).
Lord, keep me from becoming frozen by fear and by faithless, negative thinking. Even as I cry out to You, help me to be prepared to "move on."
When my spirit fails (Psalm 143:7), help me to remember the deeds of the Lord...Your miracles of long ago." Help me to "consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.” Increase my faith as l recall "the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand." (Psalm 77:10-12).
Thank You, Lord, for showing us in Your word that You fight for Your people. Speak Your peace and stillness over my fear and anxiety.
