His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires (2 Peter 1:3-4).
Thank You Lord that You called us by Your own glory and goodness. Thank You for Your very great and precious promises. Thank You that by them we can participate in Your divine nature, reflect Your glory, and escape the corruption in the world.
Help me to live a godly life, growing in grace and in knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, Lord, is in You (Psalm 25:21). Help me today to reflect Your godliness in all I say and do.
