"...Because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.” (Luke 1:78-79).
Our Father, thank You for Your tender mercy. Thank You for Your Son who came from heaven to shine on a world living in darkness and in the shadow of death. Thank You for Your deliverance, and for the peace that You give (Romans 5:1-2)
Oh Lord, help me to stay in the path of peace. Remind me that though this world is full of trouble, I can “take heart” because You “have overcome the world.” (John 16:33).
Help me to “not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present [my] requests to God." Thank You for Your promise that “the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard [my] heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:5-7)
Let others be encouraged as they see Your peace reflected in me.
